Hydrolyzes monounsaturated substrate anandamide preferentially as compared to polyunsaturated substrates.
Tissue Specificity: Highly expressed in the brain, small intestine and testis. Also expressed in the heart, kidney, liver, lung and prostate.
Sequence Similarities: Belongs to the amidase family.
